Park Regency Thornton team member makes significant impact on residents dealing with memory change.

Our very own Mary Stewart, Health Services Director is making a notable impact on the lives of our residents, while inspiring other staff to do the same! She is one of the many Bethesda Senior Living care givers training in Teepa Snow's POSITIVE APPROACH™ - a progressive therapy for helping seniors and their families recognize and manage the early signs of memory change.

Mary has been with Park Regency Thornton for a few months. She previously worked for Genesis and Vivage and has spent her entire nursing career working with seniors. Mary holds a BSN from University of Phoenix and is also a certified CPR instructor.

She feels it is an honor to work for a non-profit faith-based company and is looking forward to many years with Park Regency Thornton. Mary has found that the management and staff have all been very helpful in making her transition into the Health Services Director role an easy one.

“It has been such a pleasure getting to know all of our wonderful residents here at Park Regency Thornton. Each day I am learning more about our residents as we engage in conversations relating to their well-being. The POSITIVE APPROACH™ methods have helped me in relating to our memory care residents and in gaining a better understanding of how to care for them.”

Our team here at Park Regency Thornton considers Mary an asset to our team and we are  very pleased to have her on board.
